The Spirit Halloween piece started as an experiment in flash-style animation. I was inspired by some Rob Zombie videos which had a similar style: "American Witch" and "Lords of Salem", animated by David Hartman. This piece was composited with a combination of Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Audition.
To make an effective cemetary, I went online to view images of graveyards to pull together my ideas.
After the ideas of the look were established, I made a storyboard. I improvised as I worked through the piece.
